Christmas at Crown Center

This year for Christmas I have really been wanted to get some traditions going. Zachary is at that age where Christmas can be really fun and memorable, so I thought it would be fun to start making some Christmas memories. With the help of my awesome sister in-law we have some great things planned for this Christmas season.
Our first activity on the list was going to the Crown Center in downtown KC. That is where they have the mayor's Christmas tree up. I wasn't really sure what to expect because I have never gone down there during Christmas. Not only did they have the beautiful tree, but they had a whole playground of life size toys to play on. Zachary was in heaven.
Here we are in the life size train. Justin liked it, but he was too cold to really get into it. After a little while Justin and Lydia went back inside the Crown Center with Grandma to get warm and listen to a cute little brass band made up of a bunch of cute little old men. Justin loves music, so he was having a great time inside with Grandma.

Here's Lydia trying to keep warm before going back inside with Grandma.
Brad and Zachary posing by one of many of the fully lit trees. It was beautiful.

The three of us actually fit easily in the large sized Radio Flyer wagon. So much fun!

Here is the beautiful scene. It was so much fun, this is going on the list of permanent traditions.
