A lot has changed since I first became a mom. I have mellowed out a lot. When Zachary was Justin's age I used to hate it when he got messy at mealtime. I used sit by him with a wipe all through his meals. So, what happened to change that?
I have two kids now, so I don't have time to sit there and keep his face clean. I have discovered that a child cleans up just as well if you wait until the meal is done. I know it sounds silly, but it really used to bother me. Now I just sit back and laugh at the messy faces.

I don't think I ever got over that. I still wipe my kids' faces during the meal. Cute boy!
